Parco Fluviale del Boite

A small riverside park follows the Boite where it runs through the lower part of Borca. Paths along both banks make for an easy walk in summer, with picnic tables, fishing spots, and access to the cold clean water of the river. In high summer the meltwater turns turquoise from rock flour washed down from the Antelao glaciers.

It is not a dramatic landscape on its own — the river is narrow and the valley floor flat — but it is a pleasant way to fill an hour after a morning in the mountains. Families with small children find it useful for cooling off when the heat in the lower valley becomes uncomfortable.
