Vodo lies on the SS51 road through the Boite valley, between Belluno and Cortina d'Ampezzo. There is no railway here.
By car: From Venice or Treviso, take the A27 motorway north as far as it goes (Pian di Vedoia) and then continue on the SS51 through Longarone and the Cadore valley. Vodo is signed between Valle di Cadore and Borca di Cadore. Allow two and a half hours from Venice in good conditions.
By bus: Dolomiti Bus runs services from Calalzo-Pieve di Cadore (the nearest railway station) up the valley to Cortina, stopping at Vodo. The frequency is good in winter and summer, sparse in shoulder season.
By train: The nearest station is Calalzo-Pieve di Cadore, the terminus of the regional line from Padua via Belluno. From there it is about twenty minutes by bus or taxi to Vodo.
