By bus — Skenderaj is served by buses from Pristina (about 1.5 hours) and from Mitrovica. The connections are infrequent; check schedules at the Pristina bus station before traveling.
By car — The most convenient approach is by car from Pristina, about 45 km southeast. The road passes through Drenas (Glogovac) and enters the Drenica valley on a reasonable but narrow road. Allow an hour for the drive. The Adem Jashari Memorial Complex in Prekaz is signposted from the main road through Skenderaj.
There is no train service.
