The Vidzeme Concert Hall in Cesis is a regional cultural centre of some ambition for a town of this size. Opened in 2014, it holds around 800 people and hosts classical music concerts, theatre performances, and the annual Cesis Music Festival in summer — one of the more notable chamber music festivals in Latvia.
