Limbaži's old town hall is a compact baroque building with a layered civic history. It was built in the 18th century for a German merchant before becoming the town hall, and its interior still has frescoes painted in an Italian Renaissance style.
It is a short stop in the old centre, best seen together with the nearby museum, castle ruins, and Live Silver Museum.
