Place Bleech is the small centre below the castle, where Larochette's old civic buildings, narrow streets, and former textile-town identity are easiest to read. The town promenade route points out the old town hall, Manoir Roebé, fortified towers, and a washing fountain.
It is not a museum-piece old town. The appeal is the scale: village streets, castle rock, and wooded valley all pressed close together.
