The Church of Saint George of Kratovo is dedicated to the local saint who was executed in 1514 after refusing to convert to Islam. The present church was built in 1925 and has a single cupola above the entrance.
It is a modest stop, but it fits naturally into a walk around Kratovo's old stone bridges, towers, and hillside lanes.
