The Church of Saint Athanasius is a roofless ruined church in Varos, just below the rocky hills north of Prilep. Its exact construction date is uncertain, but it was already recorded by 1622, and fragments of frescoes still survive on the old walls.
It is a small stop rather than a major monument, best combined with the walk toward Marko's Towers and the other old churches around Varos.
