St Julian's is about 12 km from Valletta and served by frequent buses from the capital. Bus routes 12 and 13 run directly from Valletta to Spinola Bay and Paceville; the journey takes about 30–40 minutes depending on traffic. From Malta International Airport, the X2 and bus 13 route connects via Valletta with a transfer, or taxis from the airport cost around €20–25.
Sliema and St Julian's are effectively continuous — you can walk between them along the promenade in 20–30 minutes. Birgu (Vittoriosa), Mdina, and the Three Cities are within 30 minutes by bus from St Julian's.
