St Julian's is not an historic city — most of what draws visitors is the waterfront, the water sports, and the nightlife. The rocky bays offer good snorkelling and there are dive centres along the coast. Spinola Bay is the visual heart of the town, with traditional luzzu fishing boats and a waterfront that works for an hour's walk at any time of day.
