The Dominicanenklooster is a church and monastery complex in Assendorp, a short walk southeast of the centre. Its brick church, cloister atmosphere, and active cultural programme make it more than a simple architectural stop.
It is worth checking ahead for tours, concerts, or exhibitions. Even from the outside, it adds a different layer to Zwolle: less Hanseatic merchant city, more quiet religious and neighbourhood history.
