Andenes has a small regional airport with flights to Bodø and Tromsø. By road, it's about 3.5 hours from Sortland or Stokmarknes via the bridges and tunnels linking the Vesterålen islands, or reachable via the Hurtigruten coastal route, which calls at nearby Risøyhamn.
