Astruptunet

Astruptunet was the home and small farm of painter Nikolai Astrup, whose work drew heavily on the light, farms, and landscapes around Jolster. The site preserves the artist's house and setting, giving useful context for the paintings he made of western Norway.

The museum is most rewarding for visitors interested in Norwegian art, rural architecture, and quiet lake scenery.
