Kragerø is a summer destination above all — the archipelago, the swimming rocks, the boat trips between islands, and the long evenings at outdoor tables are the point. In the town itself the small museum with its Edvard Munch connection and the 19th-century church are worth a look. Jomfruland National Park, just offshore, is the real prize for nature lovers.
