The road to the cape is 34 km from Honningsvåg. Most visitors drive (rental cars available in Honningsvåg and Alta) or take one of the daily tourist buses timed to arrive at the cape for the midnight sun. The Hurtigruten coastal ferry stops twice daily at Honningsvåg and offers bus excursions up to the cape as part of its onward schedule.
