The Szyndzielnia gondola lifts you out of the city and into the Silesian Beskids in a few minutes, depositing you at 950 metres on a wooded ridge with restaurants, a mountain shelter, and the start of half a dozen hiking trails. The view back down to Bielsko-Biała opens up dramatically as you climb, and on a clear day you can see across to the Tatras on the horizon.
From the upper station, easy walks of one to two hours follow yellow and red trails to the Klimczok shelter and the Błatnia peak. The route is busy at weekends and almost empty on weekday mornings. In winter the cable car serves the small Dębowiec ski area lower down, and the same trails are popular for snowshoeing.
