A large wooden restaurant on the shore of Lake Ukiel, particularly popular with locals at weekends. Fish from the local lakes is the speciality — pikeperch and pike served grilled or in cream sauce, smoked eel, and a hearty fish soup. The terrace gets the afternoon sun.
Polish standards (pierogi, żurek, schabowy) round out the menu and the prices are reasonable. The walk back to town along the lake at dusk is one of the city's nicer evening rituals.
