Sandomierz has no train station on a main line — the nearest is Sandomierz-Mokoszyn, a short taxi ride from the Old Town, on the Rzeszów–Skarżysko-Kamienna line with limited service. Most visitors arrive by road.
By bus: PKS bus services connect Sandomierz with Kielce, Rzeszów, Tarnobrzeg, and other regional centres. The bus station is near the Old Town.
By car: Sandomierz is about 3.5 hours from Warsaw and 2 hours from Kraków by road. Parking is available on the edge of the Old Town.
By train from Kraków or Warsaw: The most convenient approach by rail is to travel to Rzeszów or Kielce and continue by bus. Direct rail connections are limited.
