St. Sebastian's Church is a small wooden church above Wieliczka, far quieter than the famous salt mine below. Its painted interior and hilltop position make it a pleasant detour for travellers who want to see more of the town than the mine entrance.
It is not a reason to come to Wieliczka by itself, but it adds texture to a half-day visit. Walk up if you have time after the mine and market square, especially in good weather when the view back over town is part of the reward.
