Villa Atma is a historic wooden chalet in Zakopane that now houses the Karol Szymanowski Museum, a branch of the National Museum in Krakow. The composer lived here in the 1930s, and the house gives his music a clear mountain setting.
The villa is small, but it is a good stop if you are interested in Polish music or Zakopane's timber architecture. It pairs naturally with a walk through the older lanes south of Krupowki Street.
