Fátima has no train station. The closest rail link is Fátima station in the nearby village of Caxarias, about 12 km from the sanctuary — you'll need a taxi or bus for the last stretch.
The easiest public transport option is the coach. Rede Expressos operates direct services from Lisbon (Sete Rios terminal) to Fátima several times a day; the journey takes about 90 minutes. Buses also run from Porto and Coimbra. The Fátima bus station is a five-minute walk from the sanctuary.
By car, Fátima is straightforward: it sits just off the A1 motorway between Lisbon and Porto. From Lisbon the drive takes about an hour and a half; from Porto roughly two hours. Parking near the sanctuary fills up fast on pilgrimage dates — arrive early.
