Fátima is small enough to cover entirely on foot. The sanctuary, the basilicas, and the main visitor attractions are all clustered around the esplanade. From most hotels in the centre, everywhere you need to reach is a ten-minute walk at most.
Taxis are available for trips to Caxarias train station or for day trips to nearby towns like Batalha and Tomar, both of which are under 30 km away and worth combining with a visit to Fátima.
