A classic café on Oliveira Square with marble-topped tables, mirrors, and a long wooden counter. Sit outside under the arcades for the view of the Padrão do Salado, or inside if the wind is up.
Coffee is fine, the pastries — especially the tortas de Guimarães, an almond-and-pumpkin sweet — are better.
