Things to Do

Sesimbra's sights fall into two clusters: the town itself — castle, fortress, parish church, working harbour, and the long curve of beach — and the wilder hinterland out toward Cabo Espichel and into the Serra da Arrábida. Most can be walked or driven in a day. The water is the third draw: warm, sheltered, and one of the better swimming bays on the Lisbon coast.
