Arad Synagogue

Arad Synagogue is a neoclassical 19th-century synagogue, built between 1828 and 1834 with Greek and Tuscan details. Its calm exterior fits the Austro-Hungarian centre around it, but the building also points to the city's once important Jewish community.

Add it to a short walk along Arad's central boulevards, especially if you are already visiting the theatre, administrative palace, or other historic buildings nearby.
