Strada Sforii — Rope Street — is 80 metres long and between 1.1 and 1.3 metres wide, and is regularly named one of the narrowest streets in Europe. It was originally a fire-fighters' access lane between the houses on Strada Cerbului and Strada Poarta Schei.
The walls are covered with graffiti and lovers' initials, and the lane is now one of Brasov's set-piece photo stops. It takes about two minutes to walk down and you will probably have to wait your turn to take a photograph. Look for the small Sforii Cafe at one end for an espresso afterwards.
