Brasov's old town is small enough to cover on foot in a long morning, but most visitors find themselves staying longer than planned. The big set-pieces — the Black Church, Piata Sfatului, the city walls and the cable car up Mount Tampa — are all within ten minutes' walk of each other. Climb above the town for the view, then come back down for cake.
