Housed in the baroque Bánffy Palace on Piața Unirii, the Art Museum has a strong collection of paintings by Transylvanian artists spanning several centuries. The highlight is a very fine medieval altar. The building itself, with its ornate facade and grand staircase, is worth the visit on its own.
