Meron is Cluj's best specialty coffee — locally roasted, properly extracted, served by people who care. The main branch on Strada Vasile Goldiș is a clean modern room with a long bar and a few tables, popular with students and remote workers; a smaller branch sits on Piața Unirii.
If you've come from Vienna or Berlin expecting Romanian coffee to be Turkish-style sediment in a tiny cup, Meron will reset that expectation. The pastries are good too.
