A compact cafe on the path leading up to the castle, Turnul (meaning "the tower") does espresso drinks, fresh-squeezed juice, and cold Romanian beers to a mix of tourists and locals. The outdoor tables fill up fast on summer afternoons when visitors spill out from the castle. The coffee is decent for a small-town Romanian cafe, which is to say strong and served without ceremony. Worth stopping at for a break between visiting the castle and heading back to the train station.
