Profsoyuznaya Street, two blocks east of Bauman, is the closest thing Kazan has to a bar strip — a short pedestrianised section with a dozen craft-beer bars, gastropubs, cocktail bars, and small clubs packed shoulder to shoulder. The crowd is mainly local students and young professionals.
Walk the length of the street on a Friday or Saturday night and pick whatever looks busy. Most places open from afternoon until midnight or later; weeknights are sleepier but still active.
