Bardejov's old town is compact and almost entirely pedestrianised, making it easy to spend a half-day exploring on foot. The main square, the basilica, and the medieval walls are all within minutes of each other. The Jewish quarter requires a short detour outside the walls but is essential. The spa resort at Bardejovské Kúpele makes a pleasant afternoon trip or a good reason to base yourself here for a night.
