Liznjek Farm is an old farmhouse in the centre of Kranjska Gora, now used as an ethnographic museum. It is a useful antidote to the resort version of town, showing domestic alpine architecture and rural life before ski lifts and holiday apartments changed the valley.
It is a small stop, best fitted into a rainy afternoon or a relaxed wander through the centre. For travellers interested in how mountain communities actually lived, it adds texture that the big outdoor sights cannot provide.
