Iglesia de San Pedro is the church to seek out after the main square. It is quieter than Santa María, but its position and late Gothic architecture make it one of the most rewarding stops in Arcos.
The walk there is half the point. Lanes narrow and rise, balconies lean over the street, and then the church appears with the kind of suddenness that makes Arcos so enjoyable on foot.
