Mirador de Abades is one of the quieter viewpoints on the old-town ridge, with a broad look across the valley and the lower town. It is a good reward for continuing beyond Plaza del Cabildo.
The view is especially strong in the morning or late afternoon, when the cliff and white houses gain some shadow. Midday sun can flatten the whole town into glare.
