Getting There

Sanlúcar de Barrameda has no train station. The most practical approach from Seville (about 120km) is by bus — several daily services run by Comes or Linecar, taking around two hours. From Jerez de la Frontera (45km), buses run frequently and take under an hour.

By car, the most scenic approach is via Jerez along the A-480 through the sherry vineyards. From Seville, the A-4 to Lebrija and then the local roads through the Bajo Guadalquivir is the straightforward route. The nearest airport is Jerez (about 50km), which has connections to Madrid and some European cities.
