The seafront promenade runs for about two kilometres along the beach, lined with chiringuitos (beach bars), seafood restaurants, and the lighthouse at the western end. This is the social centre of Torre del Mar — particularly lively in summer evenings when locals and tourists alike promenade between the terrace bars. The beach itself is wide grey-gold sand, kept clean, and safe for swimming.
