Bar Restaurante El Mirador

Village bar on the main square serving tapas and daily lunch menus

The bar on Zufre's main square is the social hub of the village and the most reliable place to eat. It serves standard Andalusian tapas — jamón, queso, tortilla, croquetas — alongside cold beer and local wine. At lunchtime on weekdays there is often a menú del día: a simple two-course meal with bread and a drink for a few euros. The jamón ibérico comes from local producers and is the standout item on any plate it appears on.

The bar keeps village hours rather than tourist hours. It is most reliably open midmorning and at lunchtime; afternoon and evening opening depends on the day and the season. Do not arrive at 2pm on a Sunday expecting lunch without checking first.
