Capdepera Lighthouse stands beyond Cala Ratjada on the eastern tip of Mallorca, where the island narrows into dry scrub, cliffs, and open sea. The lighthouse itself is a working structure rather than a museum, but the point is the setting: broad views toward Menorca in clear weather and a fine sense of being at the end of the island.
You can drive close to the lighthouse, though walking from Cala Ratjada or Capdepera makes the visit feel less perfunctory. Go early or late for softer light and fewer cars on the narrow approach. The area is exposed, so a hat and water matter more than the short distance suggests.
