Montaña Chayofita is the small volcanic cone between Los Cristianos and Las Américas. It is not high, but in a flat resort landscape even a modest climb changes everything: suddenly the hotels, beaches, harbour, and dry southern hills fall into place.
The path is dusty and exposed, so go early or near sunset rather than in the hard middle of the day. Wear proper shoes, bring water, and treat it as a short viewpoint walk rather than a serious hike.
