Consuegra sits 65 km south of Toledo and about 120 km from Madrid, just off the A-4 motorway towards Andalusia. The drive from Madrid takes about 1.5 hours.
Public transport is awkward: there is no railway station. Buses run a few times a day from Toledo and Madrid's Estación Sur, taking around an hour from Toledo and two hours from Madrid. Most travellers visit on a day trip by hire car, often combined with the windmills of Campo de Criptana further south.
