The Ramalosa Marshes sit where the Miñor river system meets the sea, just east of Baiona. Reeds, mudflats and tidal channels make this a softer, quieter landscape than the town's fortress and beaches, with good chances for birdwatching when the tide is right.
It is not a manicured attraction, and that is part of the appeal. Come for a walk, bring binoculars if you have them, and use it as a pause between Baiona's historic waterfront and the busier beaches along the ria.
