The Torre de telegrafia optica is a ruined 19th-century optical telegraph tower on the hills near Bunol. It belonged to the old signal line between Valencia and Madrid, where messages were passed visually from tower to tower.
The tower is simple, but the position gives broad views over the surrounding countryside and makes a good short historical detour from town.
