Vinaròs Beach

Vinaròs has two small beaches north and south of the port, sandy and generally uncrowded compared to the major resorts further south on the Costa del Azahar. The Playa Norte (north beach) is slightly larger; both have clear water and lifeguard cover in summer. The seafront promenade (Passeig Marítim) connects them and is the town's main evening passeggiata.

The beaches attract mostly local families from Castellón province and a smattering of inland Spanish tourists, rather than the international package-holiday crowd. This keeps them more authentic and less commercialised than the resort beaches to the south, but also means the facilities are more modest.
