Falkenberg sits on the E6 motorway and the West Coast Line railway between Gothenburg and Malmö. By car it is about an hour south of Gothenburg, two hours north of Malmö, two and a half hours north of Copenhagen.
The fastest trains stop at the modern Falkenberg railway station (Falkenberg Stn), which is actually 5 km out of town at Skogstorp. A regular shuttle bus links the station to the centre. Older slower trains stop at the old town station closer to the centre but are less frequent. The nearest airport is Gothenburg Landvetter (GOT), about 90 minutes' drive north.
