Falkenberg's appeal is the small-town mix of old wooden quarters, the Ätran's salmon river, the medieval Sankt Laurentii church, and the long beach at Skrea. None of it is a major tourist draw on its own — the pleasure is in walking slowly and finding things at the size of an evening or an afternoon.
