Haparanda Archipelago National Park protects a scatter of low islands and skerries in the northern Gulf of Bothnia. The best-known islands include Sandskär, Seskarö, and Seskar Furö, with beaches, pine forest, open sea views, and a sense of the Baltic turning subarctic.
Boats run seasonally, usually in summer, and access can be limited outside that window. Ringed seals and grey seals live in the surrounding waters, so this is the strongest nature trip from Haparanda when conditions line up.
