Lund University's Botanical Garden on Ă–stra Vallgatan covers seven hectares and contains around 7,000 plant species. It is free to enter and open year-round, making it a favourite retreat for both students and locals. The greenhouses shelter tropical and Mediterranean flora, and the garden is particularly beautiful in May when the magnolias and cherry trees bloom.
