The Museum of Communication (Museum für Kommunikation) covers the history and culture of human communication from postal systems to social media. The collection has particular depth in postal history — Switzerland's federal postal system is one of the oldest in Europe — and includes a large philatelic collection. But the museum goes well beyond stamps, with galleries on body language, digital communication, and the social effects of new technologies.
The building is on Helvetiaplatz beside the Historical Museum, making it easy to combine both visits.
