Leukerbad is connected to the main Swiss rail network via a PostBus service from Leuk, on the main Lausanne–Brig rail line. The bus journey from Leuk takes about 30 minutes and runs frequently throughout the day. By car, take the motorway A9 to Sierre or Leuk, then follow cantonal roads up the valley; the road is steep and serpentine in places but well maintained and gritted in winter. Leukerbad has ample parking as a resort town.
